English midfielder Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace could join Real Madrid.
According to Idman.biz, citing El Nacional, the Spanish club’s head coach Xabi Alonso considers the 21-year-old midfielder the “new Kroos” and is pushing for his transfer.
Real Madrid are reportedly ready to pay around €60 million for the player. This season, Wharton has made 13 appearances across all competitions, registering one assist. His current contract with Crystal Palace runs until the summer of 2029, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €60 million.
