Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes that Manchester United’s leadership made a mistake by bringing back Paul Pogba and Cristiano Ronaldo to the club.
Idman.Biz reports that he shared this opinion in an interview with “The Diary Of A CEO” YouTube channel.
“If I were managing Manchester United, I wouldn’t have brought Pogba back. Ronaldo? Neither. Returning players to a team rarely works out,” the German coach emphasized.
For context, Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Manchester United in 2021 but left the club amid controversy at the end of 2022. The 40-year-old forward now plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, with a contract valid until 2027.
