The quarterfinal matches of the international youth boxing tournament, held in memory of Azerbaijani boxing founder Abbas Aghalarov, have commenced.
The semi-finalists in 5 weight classes have been announced in the competition organized at the Baku Boxing Center, Idman.biz reports.
There are 3 boxers of the Azerbaijan national team among those who qualified.
Those who advanced for the semi-finals secured at least a bronze medal for themselves.
It should be noted that there will be 16 matches on the third day of the competition with the participation of 7 teams. The names of the winners of the tournament will be announced on December 22.
