The European Cup, which will be held for the first time in the history of beach volleyball, has started.
Idman.biz reports that both Azerbaijan's clubs are competing in group A in the competition, which will be hosted by Balıkesir, the Turkish city.
"Azerrail" consisting of Fidan Ahmadkhanova, Larisa Smeltsova, Olga Motrich and Adelya Akhmetova played four games on the first day. The team of Azerbaijan has faced each of the clubs "Re Beach Club" (France) and "Bergstrand BV" (Austria) twice.
