Sabah basketball club will prepare for the Champions League abroad.
The team’s head coach Rimas Kurtinaytis told Report, Idman.biz reports.
The specialist said that they plan to hold several test matches during the training camp:
“We are thinking of gathering for a training camp in Baku in mid-August. The next stage of the preparation process is planned abroad. I think that it would be appropriate for us if we hold 7-8 test matches before the start of the Champions League on October 7. As for the draw, it is difficult to say anything about it now. There are no weak opponents in the Champions League. I am glad that we have reached this level.”
Sabah became the winner of the 2024/2025 season of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
