The team of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of men's basketball players has been announced.
Head coach Tahir Bakhshiyev has identified the players he will trust in the matches against Ireland and Switzerland in the preliminary qualifying round of the World Cup 2027 to be held in November, Idman.biz reports.
21 basketball players will be at the disposal of the coach in the meeting that will start in Baku in 2 days. Azerbaijani team, which will finish the preparations on November 18, will leave for this country one day later for the match against Ireland.
Bakhshiyev invited these basketball players to the national team:

Azerbaijan team will face Switzerland on November 24 at the Baku Sports Palace.
Azerbaijan national team started the qualifying round with a defeat against Switzerland (53:72) and then won against Kosovo (87:77).
