The second stage of the Khankendi - Baku ultramarathon, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Baku City Circuit and Azerbaijan Athletics Federation, has started.
Idman.biz informs that the athletes has started the second day in Yevlakh.
In the second stage of the marathon, organized under the slogan "Move forward with pride", the participants will run the distance from Yevlakh to Ujar. The best athletes will be determined in the 84 km running.
Athletes will reach the capital on March 4, passing the Ujar - Hajigabul (88 km), Hajigabul - Gobustan (70 km) and Gobustan - Baku (55 km) stages. The winners of each stage will be awarded separately. The overall winners of the ultramarathon will be awarded the grand prize.
It should be noted that a total of 64 athletes compete in the ultramarathon. Among them are representatives of Türkiye, Mexico and Moldova.
