Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., who recently made his debut for Portugal’s U15 national team, has now played his second international match.
The 14-year-old was part of the starting lineup for Portugal in a 1-1 draw against Greece at the Vlatko Marković Tournament in Croatia. Playing as a left winger, he was substituted in the 59th minute, Idman.biz reports.
As reported by The Sun, scouts from several top European clubs, including Manchester United — where Cristiano Jr. previously spent 14 months in the youth setup alongside Kai Rooney — have been sent to monitor his performance. He is currently part of the Al-Nassr youth academy.
The competition for the young star is heating up. Tottenham is among the English clubs showing interest, while 10 German clubs, including Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Hoffenheim, were also represented in the stands. Scouts from Inter, Juventus, Atalanta, and Red Bull Salzburg have likewise attended.
In the tournament opener, where Portugal defeated Japan 4-1, Ronaldo Jr. came on as a substitute in the 53rd minute.
