Idman.biz reports that Elnur Mammadov, the head of the Sports Department of the MYS, said this in a statement to journalists after the ultra-marathon race organized in Khankendi.
He said that the next event organized under the motto "Run Forward Proudly" within the Sports Week is very proud: "The weather is in minus degrees. Each of us feels proud today. On the occasion of March 5 - Physical Education and Sports Day, such a series of events will take place. Also, a parade will be organized on the occasion of Sports Day in Guba, which is the sports capital of 2024. We will also have various events for the families of martyrs and veterans. A blood donation campaign will also be held."
It should be noted that the participants of the ultra-marathon passed the Khankendi - Yevlakh (83 km), Yevlakh - Ujar (84 km), Ujar - Hajigabul (88 km), Hajigabul - Gobustan (70 km) and Gobustan - Baku (55 km) stages. They will reach Baku on the 4th. The winners of each stage will be awarded separately. The overall winners of the ultra-marathon will be awarded the grand prize.
