Paris Saint-Germain forward Ferran Torres has commented on his team's 1-0 victory over Brest in the fourth round of Ligue 1.
As reported by İdman.biz, the Spanish forward's comments were published by PSG's press service. Torres scored the only goal of the match to help the Parisians secure all three points.
"It's true that it wasn't our best game. I think we were very competitive. In the end, it was important to get our first win at a ground where we knew it would be difficult. Now we have another week to rest and prepare for the next game, which will be very important for us next weekend," Torres said.
Speaking about his goal, the forward stressed that his priority is to contribute to the team's success whenever he gets an opportunity.
"Regardless of how much playing time the coach gives me, it's always important for me to help the team and do my part. It could be a goal, an assist or the work I do on the pitch," he added.
The victory over Brest earned PSG their first three points of the 2026/27 Ligue 1 season.
