The European Championship for junior and U23 athletes in Raszyn, Poland, continues with remarkable achievements for Azerbaijan.
According to Idman.biz, the national team added two more medals to their tally today.
In the 67 kg U-23 category, Fuad Hasanov and Tehran Mammadov both competed. Tehran lifted 133 kg in the snatch, earning him a silver medal. However, he was unsuccessful in all three attempts in the clean and jerk.
Fuad Hasanov finished fourth in the snatch with a 131 kg lift but excelled in the clean and jerk, lifting 156 kg to win a bronze medal. His combined total also secured him a second bronze.
Gasim Ismayilov (67 kg) previously won a bronze medal for the team.
