Vice-president of the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation Firdovsi Umudov visited the training center of the Kurmuk club operating in Gakh.
The club's coaches Ilkin Efendiyev and Ruslan Babashov informed Firdovsi Umudov about the current conditions here, Idman.biz reports.
It was reported that about 40 teenagers are engaged in weightlifting in the hall, which was put into operation in 2022.
Firdovsi Umudov drew attention to the great potential of athletes in Azerbaijan regions and the importance of making the most of these opportunities.
AAF vice-president is also scheduled to visit other regions in the near future.
