For the first time ever, the UFC is coming to Baku.
The Azerbaijani capital will host the highly anticipated UFC Fight Night at the Baku Crystal Hall, featuring a total of 12 electrifying bouts, Idman.biz reports.
The event kicks off at 8:00 PM local time, marking a milestone moment for the country's MMA scene.
Azerbaijan will be proudly represented by three fighters on this historic night.
The co-main event will see Rafael Fiziev, ranked 11th in the UFC lightweight division, face off against Ignacio Bahamondes of Chile. Fellow Azerbaijani fighter Nazim Sadykhov will go head-to-head with Brazil's Nikolas Motta, while Tofiq Musayev is set to make his UFC debut against Myrtbek Orolbay from Kyrgyzstan.
The night’s main event features a thrilling light heavyweight showdown between former champion Jamahal Hill and top contender Khalil Rountree Jr.
