Azerbaijani UFC fighter Rafael Fiziev said this in an interview with AgFight about his upcoming fight with Charles Oliveira, Idman.biz reports.
The well-known athlete shared his thoughts on the fight taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: “I’m 100% ready for the fight and I was born for this. It motivates me. I actually like it more when the crowd doesn’t like me. At such moments I think: ‘Oh really? Now I have a great chance to beat your athlete. After that, everyone will start liking me. Maybe not everyone, but probably 70 percent of the fans will start respecting me.’ This hostile atmosphere motivates me even more, and that’s why I like being the bad guy, because it can sometimes really help you relax.”
The fight between Fiziev and Oliveira will take place on October 11 at the UFC event in Rio.
