He once again expressed his agreement with the organization of the last World Shooting Championship in Azerbaijan. According to Rossi, by organizing the competition, Azerbaijan sent a great message not only to us, but also to the world as a federation: "Your country has demonstrated its culture and hospitality in a high way. We are preparing a special event plan for next year. We want to hold the World Cup and the preparation period for the Summer Olympic Games in Baku. After Paris-2024, we want to entrust Azerbaijan with a world championship-style competition with the participation of the winners."
The president of the federation said that the Shooting Center in Baku is very beautiful: "It is considered one of the best not only in Europe, but even in the world." It would be great to hold not only the World Championship, but also the European Championship in Baku. I think it is possible to work in this direction."
Rossi said that they are always ready to contribute to the further development of shooting sports in Azerbaijan: "Shooting in Azerbaijan is going through a period of development. Great steps have already been taken in this area. We had meetings with the leaders of the Azerbaijan Shooting Federation. They are taking great steps for the development of this field. As the president of the International Shooting Federation, I am ready to contribute to this work. Both cultural and technical development of this is being done. We are working on projects so that Azerbaijan can give better results. I believe that after the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games, Azerbaijan will be able to achieve certain results."
The president of the International Shooting Federation even added that our country is capable of organizing the Summer Olympic Games in the future: "Azerbaijan organized the 1st European Games and carried out this organization very successfully. Your country has the potential to host the Summer Olympics. At the opening ceremony of the World Championship, I thanked Mr. President Ilham Aliyev for this organization. "It is not impossible to hold the Olympic Games in Azerbaijan."
