World shooting champion: “Everything was perfect from the start to the last day”

"Everything was perfect from the start to the last day"

İdman.biz informs that this was said by Polish Lukash Chapla, who won the gold medal in men’s rifle shooting at a moving target at a distance of 50 meters at the World Championship held in Baku.

The athlete said that he was satisfied with his performance and organization: "I am very happy to be here. Of course, I was satisfied with my performance because I won the gold medal. This is my 9th medal in a row at the world championships. Special thanks to Azerbaijan, and at the same time to the Baku Shooting Center. Everyone encouraged and supported us here. The organization of the competition was perfect."

Lukash Chapla said that his next goal will be to win a medal at the Paris Summer Olympic Games: "The championship was difficult. I thank my teammates. They did their best. Mainly, there was an increase in the number of medals in recent days. I hope that we will have better results in next year’s Olympics and World Cup."

Sweden’s Jesper Nyberg, who won the first place in the mixed type (fast or slow) shooting at a target moving at a distance of 50 meters from a rifle, also shared his impressions: "I can say that everything was wonderful about the competition. The weather was a bit windy at times during the tournament. But overall everything was good. I am happy to be able to contribute to my team getting to the podium."
