Swimming competitions at the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games continue.
Idman.biz reports, today Azerbaijani swimmer Maryam Sheikhalizadekhangah joined the fight.
Azerbaijani athlete took part in the 6th group in the 50 m freestyle swimming competition. Maryam, swimming in lane 5, finished 3rd. She covered the distance in 27.76 seconds.
The final position of Azerbaijani athlete among 79 participants will be known after all groups have performed. 16 swimmers with good results will advance to the semi-finals.
The semifinals will be held today, and the finals will be held on August 4.
