Idman.biz reports that Georgia's Guram Tushishvili was disqualified for his behaviour against France's Teddy Riner.
France's Teddy Riner countered Tushishvili for an ippon in the quarterfinals. Tushishvili got a red card for putting his leg into Riner's crotch and his hand on the Frenchman's face at the end of the bout.
Guram was deprived of the right to participate in the consolation matches for the bronze medal. As a result, Uzbekistan’s Alisher Yusupov, who had to wrestle with him, won the right to participate in the match for third place.
In this weight, Azerbaijani judoka Ushangi Kokauri will face Cuban Andy Granda in the consolation match.
