The athlete who defeated Ferit Goktepe from Türkiye said that before the match, he thought that the match would end quickly: "But I got injured in the first round. I couldn't fight like I wanted to. My plan has completely changed. I love to fight on my feet. Thank goodness I won."
Mammadov also spoke about his goals: "After that, I want to stay in "Rizin" and fight to win the belt. A person is as old as he feels. Age is a number. We didn't have this chance before. My age is not a problem, I can get Rizin belt. There are not many battles in Azerbaijan. I wanted my child to be with me after the victory. It was possible and I am very happy."
It should be noted that at the end of the 3-round, Mammadov defeated Goktepe and was declared the winner by the decision of the judges.
