Former MMA fighter Andre Mussi has passed away at the age of 48.
Idman.biz reports that he suddenly lost consciousness after a training session.
The Brazilian was immediately rushed to the hospital, but efforts to save his life were unsuccessful. The cause of Mussi's death remains unknown.
Andre Mussi ended his professional career in 2010, having won 11 out of the 16 fights he participated in.
