The kudo team of the Koshiki Karatedo Federation operating under the Azerbaijan Karate Federation successfully performed in the European Championship held in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Idman.biz reports that Vusal Aliyev, Sevinj Movsumzade and Elbrus Samadov, among the athletes who participated in the competition, won the first place on the podium after defeating their competitors from Lithuania, Malta and Armenia, respectively.
The other athlete, Kanan Ismayilzade, only lost to the Georgian athlete in the final, and was satisfied with the silver medal.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan national team consisting of 5 athletes participated in the European Championship under the leadership of the vice-president of the federation Valiyulla Bunyatov.
