Azerbaijani karate players won one medal at an international tournament in France.
Idman.biz reports that Fidan Teymurova (50 kg) took third place in the Paris Premier League.
Fidan defeated her Ukrainian counterpart Yulia Palashevskaya in the match to win bronze medal. Another athlete was close to the same success. Tural Aghalarzada (67) was defeated by his Jordanian opponent and lost his chance to win.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team was represented in the Paris Premier League with 7 karate players.
