He said that he was very happy to sing the Azerbaijani national anthem after 5 years: "My battles were very easy. I had to win the final match, I had a huge responsibility. I did it. I feel over the moon. After 2018, we did not have a World Champion among young people. Even though we won a medal, we were longing for the highest place of honor. My dream was to put an end to this, sing our national anthem and wave our flag. Thank you, I fulfilled my wish."
Vusal announced his future goals. He said that his biggest dream is to win a gold medal at the Olympic Games: "First of all, my goal is to win a medal at the European and World championships among adults. Of course, I want to become champion again. "Olympic gold, which all athletes dream of, is among my wishes."
It should be noted that Vusal Galandarzada won the gold medal after defeating the American Jack Yonezuka in the final of the World Championship.
