The European Youth Judo Championship will be held in The Hague on September 7-9.
According to Idman.biz, the Azerbaijani national team participated in the competition with 16 athletes.
Nizami Imranov (60 kg), Aydin Rzayev, Nijat Nagiyev (both 66 kg), Vusal Qalandarzade, Suleyman Aliyev (both 73 kg), Omar Rajabli (81 kg), Vugar Talibov, Ismayil Zamanov (both 90 kg), Kanan Nasibov (+100 kg), Konul Aliyeva, Vusala Hajiyeva (both 48 kg), Aidan Valiyeva, Khadija Gadashova (both 52 kg), Fidan Alizadeh (57 kg), Narmin Amirli (78 kg) and Nigar Suleymanova ( +78 kg) applied.
It Is interesting that K. Gadashova won the title of junior World Champion in Zagreb before and now she will try herself at the junior level.
A total of 41 countries will participate in the EURO in The Hague.
