The draw for the First Qualifying Round of the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League has been held today.
The ceremony took place in Nyon, Switzerland, and Azerbaijani Cup winners "Sabah" FC now know their first opponent in the tournament, Idman.biz reports.
Sabah will face Celje (Slovenia) in the opening round.
Sabah will play the first leg on July 10, with the second leg scheduled for July 17.
Interestingly, Celje’s president is Russian businessman Valeri Kolotilo, and the Slovenian club recently signed a cooperation agreement with Azerbaijani side Kapaz.
