Brazilian football star Neymar is set to undergo knee surgery in the coming days and plans to complete his rehabilitation under the guidance of Brazilian physiotherapist Eduardo Santos, known in the football world as Dr. Miracle, İdman.Biz reports.
The 33-year-old Santos forward confirmed the need for surgery after playing through pain at the end of the season and helping his team remain in the top division, including a 3–0 win over Cruzeiro. Neymar noted that he now needs rest before undergoing the operation, though he did not specify his expected recovery time.
Santos is renowned for achieving unusually fast rehabilitation periods: in 2015, he helped David Luiz return to the pitch in roughly 10 days despite an initial prognosis of 8–10 weeks, which led French media to nickname him the Dr Miracle.
