The European Fencing Championship is set to take place in Genoa, Italy.

In the women’s sabre events, Zarifa Huseynova, Sabina Karimova, and Polina Kaspiarovich will compete. They are expected to participate in both individual and team competitions.
From June 14 to 19, Ruslan Hasanov will also take to the piste in the épée category.
The women’s sabre team will be without its leader, Anna Bashta, who is forced to miss the continent’s main event due to injury.
