The Azerbaijani men’s sabre fencing team has won a bronze medal at the 3rd CIS Games.
According to Idman.biz, the national team, consisting of Abbas Huseynov, Nahid Mammadli, Rasul Aliyev, and Timur Husnaddinov, defeated Belarus 45:40 in the quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals, where they faced Russia.
The Azerbaijani fencers lost to Russia 32:45 but secured the bronze medal.
