Azerbaijani chess player Ayan Allahverdiyeva maintained her leadership in the World Championship among boys and girls held in Montesilvano (Italy).
Idman.biz reports that in the competition among participants under 18 years of age, she scored 6 points and tied with Hrebenshchykova Yelyzaveta from Ukraine in the 7th round.
American Rochelle Wu has the same score, but Allahverdiyeva is ahead of her due to additional odds.
It should be noted that Ayan won a silver medal at last year's World Championship.
