Azerbaijan's Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov has met with a delegation from the International Chess Federation (FIDE) during the organization's visit to Baku.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the meeting took place on August 6 and focused on the continued development of chess in Azerbaijan, expanding international cooperation, and major international tournaments that have been held or are planned to be staged in the country.
The two sides also exchanged views on the future of their cooperation and discussed opportunities to implement new joint projects aimed at further promoting chess.
