The prestigious magazine “The Ring” has released its updated ranking of the strongest modern-day boxers regardless of weight class (P4P).
World heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (24–0, 15 KOs) continues to hold the top spot, Idman.biz reports.
On the night of July 20, the Ukrainian boxer knocked out British fighter Daniel Dubois, claiming all the most prestigious belts in the sport (WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBF).
In second place is Japan’s undisputed world champion Naoya Inoue, with American Terence Crawford completing the top three. The U.S. representative could improve his position further in September if he defeats Mexican Saul Alvarez.
There has been only one change in the updated ranking, Japanese holder of the WBC and WBO belts, Junto Nakatani, has moved ahead of American Jesse Rodriguez to sixth place.
