Nadir Nabiyev: "The number of talented children is increasing"

"First of all, I would like to thank the participants of the conference for their trust in me. I will try to meet their trust in abundance."

Idman.biz reports that this was said by the president of the Western Regional Football Federation, Nadir Nabiyev.

The football veteran, who was elected as the head of the reorganization for the next 5 years, told the press service of the federation: "We have done enough to popularize football in our region over the past 5 years. Every year we organize various tournaments. We have held commemorative tournaments of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, our martyrs, and veteran football player Sakit Aliyev at a high level. We focus on games in children's leagues. Based on our request to increase the knowledge and skills of coaches, AFFA organized C category courses for regional coaches. More than 20 coaches won this category for the first time. It is gratifying that the number of talented children in our region is increasing under their leadership."

Nabiyev said that they are in close contact with lower league clubs: "We are in close contact with the teams representing our region, either in the Regional League or in the II League. We try to be as supportive as possible. Every year, at the expense of our internal resources, we present gifts, diplomas and honorary degrees to outstanding teams, players and coaches. The teams in the region mainly struggle with the ball and inventory. In this regard, we supported the teams at the expense of our internal capabilities."

The president of the institution also touched on the goals: "We have many goals and objectives. We will always work hard for the development of football in our region. We aim to organize tournaments in terms of the mass of football. One of our main priorities is to revive children's football in Gadabay, which is part of our region and has been without football for a long time. We intend to help create a team there, form teams for lower age groups and participate in official competitions, and support the participation of coaches there in category courses. Our goal is to contribute to the development of Azerbaijani football."
