Zenit midfielder Du Queiroz is set to continue his career with Sabah.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing Sport-Express, the 26-year-old Brazilian has joined the Baku club on loan. The transfer is expected to be officially announced shortly.
Du Queiroz began his professional career with Brazilian club Corinthians before joining Zenit in 2023. Since then, the midfielder has also had loan spells with Gremio and Sport Recife.
The Brazilian spent last season on loan at Russian club Orenburg. He made 29 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
Founded in 2017, Sabah will compete in the main stage of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the club's history this season.
The Baku side will face Barcelona, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, Napoli, Villarreal, Slavia Prague and Viking in the league phase.
