Turkish international Arda Güler has reportedly agreed to sign a new contract with Real Madrid, extending his stay at the Spanish club until 2031.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing TEAMtalk, the 20-year-old midfielder and Real Madrid have reached an agreement over a long-term contract extension.
According to the source, Güler's representatives held talks with Arsenal and Manchester City several months ago as the Premier League clubs explored the possibility of signing the highly rated Turkish international.
However, Real Madrid's management made it clear that Güler remains an important part of the club's long-term plans. The midfielder has also received the backing of head coach José Mourinho, further strengthening his position at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Güler has made nine appearances across La Liga and the UEFA Champions League this season, scoring one goal and providing five assists.
His performances have highlighted his growing influence in Real Madrid's attacking play and reinforced the club's determination to secure his future.
According to Transfermarkt, the Turkish international's current market value is estimated at €100 million.
The reported agreement would keep Güler at Real Madrid until 2031, although the club has yet to officially announce the contract extension.
