"We Made History": Sabah's Kahim Parris Reacts to Landmark Champions League Victory

Sabah midfielder Kahim Parris has expressed his delight after helping the Azerbaijani club secure a historic victory over Slavia Prague in the second round of the UEFA Champions League league phase.

As reported by İdman.Biz, the 26-year-old Jamaican international shared his emotions following Sabah's 2-0 home triumph over the Czech side in Baku.

"It's an incredible feeling. This is my first goal in the league phase and also our first victory in the competition. We made history for the club, the country and ourselves. It's a proud moment for both me and my family," Parris told sport24.az.

The midfielder played a crucial role in the landmark achievement, opening the scoring against Slavia Prague and becoming the first player in Sabah's history to score a goal in the Champions League league phase.

The victory marked another major milestone for the Masazir-based club, which is making its debut in the league phase of Europe's most prestigious club competition.

Sabah secured all three points with a convincing 2-0 victory, recording their first win in the tournament after suffering a 4-0 defeat to Manchester United in their opening fixture.
