The captain of Azerbaijan national team and Neftchi Emin Mahmudov received an offer from Turkiye’s Kocelispor.
Idman.biz reports that the representative of the 1st league met with the 31-year-old midfielder and agreed on the details of his personal contract.
The Kocaeli club, which reached an agreement with the player himself, could not come to a common denominator with Neftchi for his transfer. The Baku club, which is not interested in selling its leader, demanded a large amount. This figure did not satisfy the Turkish team.
Wanting to take advantage of the condition that a football player from Turkic-speaking countries is not considered an international player, Kocaelispor made the transfer of Ramil Sheydayev after Emin's transfer was not accepted.
It should be noted that the Turkish club has agreed a 1.5-year contract with the striker.
