The team, which scored 93 points, was the 2nd in the world in the team score. Türkiye (121) took the first place, and Georgia (78) took the third place.
With this result, Azerbaijan has improved 2 indicators. The national team in Greco-Roman wrestling, which took second place for the first time in the history of the U-23 World Championships held in 2017, also achieved its best result according to the points collected in the team account.
It should be noted that Khasay Hasanli (77 kg) won silver, Farid Sadikhli (55 kg), Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg) and Sarkhan Mammadov (130 kg) won bronze medals.
