New Germany head coach Jurgen Klopp has called up 44 players for the national team's upcoming UEFA Nations League matches, forming two separate squads.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing the German Football Association (DFB), Germany will play four matches over a 10-day period at the start of their 2026/27 Nations League campaign.
Klopp's side will face the Netherlands in Amsterdam on September 24 before hosting Greece in Augsburg on September 27. Germany will then take on Serbia in Munich on October 1 and travel to Thessaloniki for another meeting with Greece on October 4.
Eleven players have received their first senior Germany call-ups: Felix Keidel (Elversberg), Finn Jeltsch (Stuttgart), Hennes Behrens (Augsburg), Max Rosenfelder, Philipp Treu, Derry Scherhant and Yannik Engelhardt (all Freiburg), Bambase Conte (Hoffenheim), Younes Ebnoutalib (Eintracht Frankfurt), Vitaly Janelt (Brentford) and Mika Baur (Celtic).
Another five players included in the extended selection have previously been called up but are yet to make their senior international debuts.
Ajax goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has returned to the national team after missing the 2026 World Cup. According to Klopp, following Manuel Neuer's departure from international football, ter Stegen will be Germany's first-choice goalkeeper.
