Azerbaijani wrestler Arseniy Dzhioev will face American opponent Kyle Dake at the “Real American Freestyle” (RAF) tournament.
According to İdman.Biz, citing RAF’s official social media page, the bout will take place on September 5 in Moscow.
Two-time Olympic bronze medalist and four-time world champion Kyle Dake will defend his RAF light heavyweight title against Azerbaijan’s Arseniy Dzhioev.
Dzhioev is a two-time World Championship medalist. The wrestlers previously met on February 25 this year at the “Muhamet Malo Ranking Series” tournament in Tirana, Albania. In that match, in the 86 kg weight category, the Azerbaijani athlete defeated Dake 4–1 and won a bronze medal.
Thus, the September 5 bout will mark the second meeting between Dzhioev and Dake.
It should be noted that the competition in Moscow will be broadcast live in the United States on the Fox Nation platform.
