"I cannot say that I am satisfied with my performance. Injuries prevented me to do my best."
Ruslan Nurullayev, the Greco-Roman wrestler of Azerbaijan who won a bronze medal at the U-23 World Championship in Tirana, the capital of Albania, told Idman.biz.
The 19-year-old athlete, who made his debut in the World Cup for this age group, evaluated his performance in the competition. He said that inexperience played a small role on the way to the championship: "The opponents were also very strong. Certain mistakes and injuries prevented me from getting a better result. I will work on my weaknesses so that I can wrestle better in the future. My main goal is to participate in tournaments among adults."
It should be noted that Ruslan Nurullayev won a gold medal at the U-20 World Championship held in Spain this year.
