Eldeniz Azizli became the world champion for the third time, and Rafig Huseynov for the second time

Azerbaijani wrestling team won two gold medals at the licensed World Championship held in Belgrade.

İdman.biz informs that Azərbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg) and Rafig Huseynov (82 kg) became world champions.

Both athletes were successful in the non-Olympic weight category. In the decisive match, Edeniz won against Nuqzari Tsurtsumiya (Kyrgyzstan) with a score of 13:4. Rafiq defeated his Iranian opponent. Huseynov was stronger than Alirza Mohmadipiani.

It should be noted that Azizli won the World Champion title for the third time in his career, and Huseynov for the second time.
