The European Olympic Qualifying Tournament for wrestling in Baku has started.
Idman.biz reports that Greco-Roman wrestlers started fighting on the first day of the competition organized at the National Gymnastics Arena.
4 "classics" of the Azerbaijan national team also joined the competition for a qualification for the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games. The names of 12 Olympians will be announced on the first day of the tournament, the finalists of which will receive a license.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan is represented in the tournament by a total of 14 athletes.
