The Azerbaijani Beach Wrestling Championship will be held on July 16–17.
Winners among athletes born in 2009–2010 will be determined on the first day of the competition, Idman.biz reports.
On the second day, the strongest wrestlers in the senior category will compete on the sand.
The preliminary bouts will begin at 10:00 at the Beach Arena, while the medal matches are scheduled to start at 17:00.
The main goal of the championship is to form the national beach wrestling team and to begin early preparations for upcoming tournaments, including the 2026 Youth Summer Olympic Games in Dakar.
