This week, the Olympic Qualifying Tournament for wrestling will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that 162 wrestlers have qualified for Paris-2024 before the competition to be held in our capital.
Members of 50 national teams won the right to wrestle in France. Azerbaijan is also among these teams. In Greco-Roman wrestling, Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) and Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg), in freestyle wrestling, Magomedkhan Magomedov (97 kg) won this right. Azerbaijan shares the 18th place in this indicator.

It should be noted that the competition in Baku will be held from April 5 to 7. Asia will be held on April 19-21 and the World Classification Tournament will be held on May 9-12.
