Sanan Suleymanov: "The license doesn't mean anything yet"

"My expectation from the new year is to train more and get the high results I need by correcting mistakes."

Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg), a member of the Azerbaijani national team in Greco-Roman wrestling, told Idman.biz.

He said that he intends to start the year successfully. According to Suleymanov, he intends to take the podium at the 1st ranking tournament to be held in Croatia on January 10-14. But, of course, this is the coaches' decision, we will do whatever they advise."

The European champion said that the Olympic year will be responsible and difficult: "That's why we will participate in many training camps, either abroad or in our homeland. Even if I won a license for the Olympics, it still doesn't mean anything. Because my main goal is to participate well there, is to achieve high results".

Saying that 2024 will be different from other years, Suleymanov emphasized that his main plans are only related to sports: "I am not thinking about any other plans until the Olympic Games and I am not thinking about thinking about them."
