Negotiations between Barcelona and Manchester City over the transfer of Spain international midfielder Rodri are at the final stage, with the Blaugrana set to pay around €55 million for the player, as reported by İdman.Biz, citing Mundo Deportivo.
According to the publication, the Spanish club and the player have agreed on personal terms, while the two clubs are finalising the remaining details of the deal. Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick expects the midfielder to join the squad alongside other Spain internationals who are due to report to the club’s training camp on Wednesday.
In the 2025/2026 Premier League season, the 30-year-old Rodri made 21 appearances and scored one goal. He also featured in five UEFA Champions League matches, without registering any goal contributions.
