- How did you welcome the new year? What did you wish for yourself?
- I welcomed the New Year simply with my family without. To be honest, I didn't wish for anything special. I preferred to sleep at midnight.
- You are already spending the second season in Romania. You have won the Super Cup, you have advanced to the final of the Challenge Cup. Have you almost found your game in Lugoj?
- Last season was fantastic. After the end of the season, we also understood that it would be very difficult to win such a result again. I stayed here for the second season because the conditions of my new contract, management, coaches, teammates and fans are satisfactory. Having my family with me is also one of the important issues.
- A few days ago, Lugoj lost 1:3 to Nilufar Municipality in the first game of the 1/4 final stage of Challenge Cup. How realistic is it to get revenge in the match in Turkiye?
- We suffered for three sets, but we constantly made mistakes. The enemy knew our weaknesses and took advantage of it. It is difficult to say whether we will be able to compensate for this in Bursa. But everything is possible. We do not lose hope.
- Can you watch the Azerbaijan Championship? What does the Premier League look like from the outside? Did you get an offer from here?
- I can watch the matches of the championship. Recently, I watched the game of Azerrail. Unfortunately, he ended his performance in the Challenge Cup early. I am glad that new teams are being formed in the championship, legionary players are coming again. Of course, I wanted the level of the league to be higher. I have already received offers. We are talking to the clubs, we talked to Faig Garayev. But these proposals are still nothing more than talk.
- Faig Garayev took the "helm" of the national team at the end of last year. What are your hopes for his return?
- I think that with the arrival of Faig Garayev, volleyball will receive a greater stimulus. He completely devotes himself to work with players, helps in everything, contributes to their professional development.
- Do you intend to help our nation in the Golden Europea League, where one of our opponents is Romania?
- There are some family issues that I need to resolve. If everything goes well, of course I will help the team in May.
- If we talk about your career, do you have long-term plans? In which championship would you like to try yourself?
- Offers have already started coming from the clubs. I am talking to the managers, we will look for a suitable option. To be honest, choosing a team in my current situation is not as easy as it used to be. Before, when I was alone, I only cared about my career. Now I have a family and a child. This is the most important thing to me. But I would like to perform in Turkey and Italy. It will be great if volleyball returns to a high level in Baku. I will gladly play there.
