Azerbaijani triathlete Rostislav Pevtsov performed at the World Cup held in Tangier.
Idman.biz informs that the first major ranking tournament held in Morocco brought together 63 athletes in the men's competition.
Pevtsov covered the water distance of 750 m, 20 km by bicycle and the last 5 km by running in 55 minutes and 10 seconds. This allowed him to take 19th place.
Pierre Le Coret of France won the gold medal of the World Cup, David Cantero of Spain won the silver medal, and Vetle Torn of Norway won the bronze medal.
It should be noted that participants in the World Cups earn Olympic license points.
