The Turkish Open Taekwondo Championship has started in Antalya.
Idman.biz reports that on the first day of the competition, Azerbaijan's national teenage team won 2 medals.
Maryam Jafarova (152 cm) won the gold medal in the team. She defeated 6 opponents and advanced to the top of the podium. Gulay Aliyeva (160 cm) finished the championship with a bronze medal. The taekwondo player has passed 4 stages until the semi-finals.
It should be noted that teenage boys will join the competition today.
