Azerbaijani taekwondo athletes successfully represented the country at international open tournaments held in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

At the tournament held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Rugayya Aliyeva (28 kg) and Aylin Salahli (41 kg) won gold medals, while Cilingir Gokalp (36 kg) earned a silver medal.
Later, our representatives traveled to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to compete in a tournament organized by the Grand Master Taekwondo Club. Among the club members, Cilingir Gokalp (36 kg) defeated all his opponents and secured the gold medal. Aylin Salahli (41 kg) once again confirmed her championship title. Rugayya Aliyeva (28 kg) took second place on the podium.
